If a genuine communication is being sent by Currys, it will always have .uk in the email address. We would encourage people to be vigilant and ensure that any emails they are receiving from outside parties are genuine before opening or interacting with them. Unfortunately there are a large number of cyber criminals who are constantly attempting to dupe unsuspecting shoppers. While speaking to .uk, a Currys spokesperson explained: "We have been alerted to this phishing email from customers and colleagues and in no part has this activity been undertaken by our business.

The nappy makers said: "Hi Pampers Family, we want to make sure that you’re safe from scams. Pampers has also been alerting its followers on Twitter to the nasty scam.
